In the Beginning

I was raised an alternative Southern Belle with a creative tom boy streak. Since discovering my first crayons and all the substrates I could color with them—I have been in heaven.

A Little Later

I married a traveling man so I ended up being able to explore art in variety of places with some darn incredible teachers. This fantastic opportunity has added flare and color to my work.

Now

In addition to being a working artist, I teach in the art department of Santa Fe Community College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I also have the opportunity to mentor many young printmakers which brings delight to my life.

My Philosophy

I like to work on a piece until it works or hovers over its grave......sometimes it is a very fine line.
